I'm very excited for this summers excursion to Florence. Since I began my studies of the Italian language 6 years ago, I've always dreamed of traveling to Italy. I'm attending this program to immerse myself in the Italian culture and lifestyle and to continue my studies of the Italian language. They say the best way to learn a language is to surround yourself with it.
I know this program will not only help prepare me for my Italian studies next school year, but will also educate me on the Renaissance and expose me to authentic Italian cuisine. I also hope to make lasting friendships with my fellow Abbey Road classmates and perhaps Florence natives.
